Projects, Pursuits, & Occupations
I am a designer and lover of games.
My goal is to develop and produce analog (board, card, dice, tabletop, roleplaying, etc.) games that provide players with experiences that are typically exclusive to video games.
Right now, I don't have any of my development work posted anywhere, because all my games are still quite early in development. I'm prototyping and playtesting with my friends. When I'm ready to share, I will share here, at a booth at Gen Con, on a Kickstarter, and I might even make social media accounts, too. If you want to know about my games now, then become my friend, and help me playtest.
If you want to know about what I mean by "experiences that are typically exclusive to video games," please take a look here.
I work as a debt collector for a company whose clients are primarily medical providers. I've spent 3 years with my current employer.
I don't mind manipulating numbers, and I've quite enjoyed being employed by the company that employs me. I spent over a year of that time as a member of upper management, and working alongside the leadership team was great.
But I do not enjoy calling strangers about their medical bills, nor the management of the calling of strangers about their medical bills.
If you're reading this because I've applied for a job with your company, please take a look here.
AP Moza is a pseudonym I have used for many years. It is the name I use when writing fiction, essay, and poetry.
This website is APMoza.com because, when I bought the hosting and domain, I had intended for this to be a website about my writing. Writing was what I thought I wanted to do with my life since I was 16 years old. Then I began to reassess whether I truly liked writing and wanted to do it, or whether it was just something I happened to be good at.
I knew for sure that I had always loved video games and had spent countless hours designing them. I wanted to make games. However, lacking any skill or interest in programming, my video game designs never evolved beyond drawings, charts, and documents.
The realization began to dawn in 2025, when I obtained a 3D printer. This tool unblocked something in my mind. I wanted to make games, but they didn't have to be digital.
AP Moza might become a relevant pseudonym again someday, if I rediscover a passion for writing that is deeper than merely enjoying being good at something.
For now, I already own the domain, so I'll continue to use it.
